This fuel filter water spreader kit is perfect for a variety of universal fuel applications and is mainly used for outboard engines.

To Replace Element:
1.Drain the unit by loosening the drain plug.
2.Loosen and remove the filter element.
3.Loosen and remove the bowl from the filter element.Please note that the bowl is reusable. Do not discard unless it is broken.
4.Wipe the O-ring translators clean and rub the wardrobe O-ring with fresh oil or grease and place it back on the gland.Then use the tool to tighten the bowl firmly onto the filter element.
Apply fresh oil or grease to the O-ring of the laminated filter element and attach the filter element to the filter head and tighten it securely with the tool.
6. Run the engine and check for fuel leaks.
